Excellent Portable Projectors You Deserve-XGIMI MoGo 2 Series
Time and time again, XGIMI has proved to the public why it is one of the best companies out there regarding projectors for all kinds of settings.
From the incredibly well-received Horizon series of home projectors to their revolutionary Aura laser projector, which completely changed the game when it launched in the market.
Even though XGIMI has produced a versatile line of projectors, many of which are specialized for different occasions, the company's latest invention has seemed to take the projector market by storm.
The company recently introduced its MoGo 2 series, which consists of the MoGo 2 and the MoGo 2 Pro, an incredible addition to its digital projector catalog .
Let us look at both of them in greater detail as we unpack the features they offer and how the MoGo 2 Pro takes it up a notch.

XGIMI MoGo 2's small and compact size boasts incredible portability, allowing you to watch movies on the go.
Display
In efforts to upgrade the projector, the MoGo 2 boasts a greatly improved color performance, offering 90% color gamut coverage.
This means that the MoGo 2 produces images and videos in much more detail than other projectors, with the color gamut ensuring that the colors displayed, are as vivid and natural as possible.
Not only designed for optimal use for the general public but this standard of color temperature is also favored by industry professionals, being used as the perfect temperature in Hollywood.
This, in turn, helps consumers enjoy a crisp and ultra-realistic movie experience, primarily due to the standard resulting in the restoration of color details within movies and other videos.
In addition to the color temperature, MoGo 2's color accuracy is incredibly high. Because of this, certain sections of the movie can display colors depicting particular tones they wish to convey more accurately.
Sound
Besides the display quality, the sound performance that the MoGo 2 delivers has also been upgraded compared to the previous series. The projector is equipped with not one but two 8W speaker units, which provide the consumer with an optimal audio experience.
The presence of powerful speakers further bolsters the portability concept behind the MoGo 2 projector since you no longer have to rely on bulky speakers as the projectors offer an incredibly powerful audio output.
Another benefit accompanying the distinct speaker design of the projector is that, due to them being double-sided, the projector can provide an incredibly immersive audio experience to the user.
How it works is that the double-sided design produces audio output, which not only creates a sound field that covers a much wider surface area but is the sound more evenly spread throughout the area of effect.
Design
Besides the sound and display performance, the projector also looks incredibly sleek and aesthetic. Equipped with a transparent body in the back of the device, the projector’s build allows users to look into the device's diaphragm structure.

Do not let its compact design fool you; when it comes to the MoGo 2 Pro, XGIMI has not pulled any punches when delivering a premium audio-visual experience to its consumers.
Not only is the projector equipped with one of the best audio calibration features out of all the devices currently circulating the market, but the quality of the images this projector used is of top-notch quality, resulting in incredibly bright images which are much better than their predecessors.
Performance
Due to the chip technology integrated with MoGo 2 Pro, it produces images with 1080p resolution.
Not only that but the images produced are also said to be incredibly bright due, stated at around 400 lumens, which is much higher than the previous models, which makes a big difference when considering the overall image quality.
Due to the much brighter images being produced, MoGo 2 Pro can now be used in a slightly bright room, unlike the previous models, which required you to completely close the blinds in a completely dark room.
Even though this does not make much of a difference, knowing that the projector can cope with a slightly bright setting provides you with more options when setting it up.
MoGo 2 Pro also has a great feature within the projector, known as the eye protection mode, which can descrease blue light exposure.
By utilizing the adaptive brightness feature, which is built into the projector, when it detects that someone is right in front of the screen, the projector's brightness is automatically lowered and displays a warning screen.
Setting it Up
The projector is accompanied by a USB type C port, common for many devices launched into the market these days. Furthermore, the nature of the port makes positioning the projector much easier, even when plugged into an outlet.
After positioning the projector, the first step is to pair the remote control for navigating through the different menu options within the projector. The process is designed to be incredibly simple.
All you have to do is follow a couple of instructions on the screen, with the process only taking a few moments.
The final step to setting up your projector is to connect it to your Google account, which is incredibly simple, with the Google Home feature essentially set it all up for you.
MoGo 2 Pro is also compatible with power banks. That means you can connect MoGo 2 Pro to power banks for indoor and outdoor use.
MoGo 2 Vs MoGo 2 Pro
Even though it may seem like the MoGo 2 and the MoGo 2 Pro are the same thing, many upgrades reside within MoGo 2 Pro, which is considered a game changer in the market.
One notable upgrade exclusive to MoGo 2 Pro is the addition of the ISA 2.0 system, which is built into the projector.
ISA, also known as the Intelligent Screen Adaptation system, is equipped with various functions that allow the projector to display incredibly crisp and sharp images.
The Intelligent Screen Adaptation 2.0
This special feature takes MoGo 2 Pro to another level and is exclusive only to MoGo 2 Pro model. The new and improved intelligent screen adaptation model is designed to further optimize the autofocus technology within the projector.
Not only that, but this technology also enables automatic keystone correction, allowing you to play back movies without any of the conventional interruptions.
Other than the automatic keystone corrections, other features are packed into the ISA 2.0, which are designed to further enhance your viewing experience, such as the Intelligent Screen Alignment.
What this alignment feature is designed to do is that it makes sure that the images which appear on the screen are not distorted in any way, ensuring that they match up with the edges which you originally set on the screen during the calibration and adjustment process.
Not only that, but the smart system also accounts for any objects which may hinder the images displayed through the help of Intelligent Object Avoidance which has been programmed into the smart system.
Even though the company has integrated this smart system within MoGo 2, they have used an inferior version that is not as fleshed out as the ISA 2.0.
